Aircraft Wing Shop Technician – Clearfield, UT (Full-Time)

General Summary

ES3 is currently recruiting a Wing Shop Technician to perform various support tasks to include, but not limited to, aircraft wing dis-assemble, cleaning and sealant removal, simple sheet metal tasks, part control, wing re-assembly. This position also requires the individual to be able to read and understand detailed drawings for component and system level designs.  This position will require a skill bank of numerous technical skills.  This individual should possess good time management skills, be able to adapt to shifting priorities, be a self-starter and able to problem solve.

Education and Experience Required

  • High School Diploma 
  • 3 or more months of related experience.  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Aircraft structural components disassembly
  • Removal and installation of Aircraft fasteners
  • Removal of “Fuel Cell Sealant” from wing fuel areas
  • Drilling, counter sinking, and installation operations for various Aircraft fasteners
  • Using fixtures to locate and assemble Aircraft components
  • Other common sheet metal operations

Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Manufacturing process
  • Ability to read and understand detailed drawings for component and system level designs
  • General shop experience
  • Problem solving skills

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Hours of work are Monday through Thursday 9-hour days, every other Friday off, 8 hours on the working Friday. General working hours are 6 AM – 3:30 PM. 

Other Requirements

  • Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • As a condition of employment, candidates may or may not be required to participate in a background investigation and be able to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance.
