Collaborations
Developing new capabilities together
ES3 has structured a MARS collaboration program to enable research institutions to add features to the MARS code along with ES3. ES3 has entered into collaborative efforts with government research agencies and educational institutions such as:
- Northwestern University,
- Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute,
- University of Washington,
- University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna (BOKU),
- University of Prague, and
- Polytechnic of Milan
We have created a user interface that enables these university collaborators to insert new features into MARS. The MARS user-interface makes it possible to add any type and number of new lists, including new element formulations, and any type and number of special objects, including new material models. It even allows for the addition of special-purpose time integration solving schemes.
