Our engineers have expertise in scientific methods development to support the mechanical, structural, and aerospace engineering disciplines. Our computer science staff includes software engineers with the capability to design and develop highly engineered software applications. Our system administration staff is qualified for maintaining systems with the highest requirements for availability, reliability and data integrity.


Teri Sgammato
President and Director, Business Development

As president, Teri Sgammato defines our new business ventures and pursues new markets for ES3 products and services. Teri has over 20 years experience in supporting the information technology, mechanical engineering, and aerospace industries. She has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Columbia University and an MS in Engineering Physics from the University of California at San Diego. The ES3 approach to growing new business starts by ensuring the complete satisfaction of our current customers, requiring that our products and services incorporate the latest technologies and growing expectations.
 

Chuck Dahms
General Manager and Corporate Vice President

Chuck Dahms is ES3’s General Manager. Chuck sets all company operating policies, procedures, staffing plans, and administration. Chuck has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California at Los Angeles and is a licensed professional mechanical engineer. Chuck leads ES3’s large software integration projects. He determines our hardware/software product pricing, licensing and Value Added Reseller (VAR) vendor relationships. Chuck’s operating strategy is to provide the most cost effective products and services to our customers by providing the most productive work environment to our staff.
 

Craig Edwards
Chief Engineer and Director, Aerospace Division

Craig is responsible for all aerospace engineering activities at ES3. Craig has full authority for establishing engineering policies/procedures, staffing, and teaming. Craig is a Landing Gear Engineer with 18 years of relevant technical and program management experience. His technical expertise includes structural and material aspects of landing gear spanning research, development, test and evaluation, design and analysis. Craig holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Utah State University and an M.S. in Material Science and Engineering from the University of Idaho. Craig once served as the USAF Landing Gear Lead Engineer for Heavyweight Aircraft.
 

Clint Forrest
Landing Gear Specialist and Manager, Technology Development Programs

Clint is a highly specialized technical expert who leads many critical technology development and implementation efforts. His engineering expertise and experience spans all aspects of aircraft landing gear systems; including structures, materials and processes, wheels and brakes, brake and steering control, and tires. Clint holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Utah and an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Idaho. Clint once served as the USAF Landing Gear Lead Engineer for Lightweight Aircraft, and was the Landing Gear Engineering Supervisor.
 

Doug Wiser
Landing Gear Technical Lead and Manager, Strategic Product Development

Doug is a landing gear engineer with exceptional history and understanding of the Air Force’s priorities, problem components, and promising technologies. Doug’s technical expertise includes all aspects of landing gear systems research, test and evaluation, design and analysis. Doug holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Utah. He has served as the USAF Lead Engineer for Heavyweight Aircraft, Deputy Director of the Landing Gear Commodity Council, as well as the USAF Aging Landing Gear Life Extension (ALGLE) program manager while in the USAF Landing Gear Engineering Branch.
 

Jay Randolph
Manager, Landing Gear Systems

Jay is a landing gear engineer with expertise in all structural and material aspects of aircraft landing gear. He has managed material, processing, and structural redesign efforts for the USAF as well as commercial airline industry. Jay holds a Bachelors of Aerospace Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Jay is a former lead engineer for Delta Air Lines where he supervised the component engineering group for landing gear, parts repair, wheels/brakes/tires, hydraulic, electromechanical, fuel & oil, including associated processing support shops.
 

Daniele Pelessone
Chief Scientist

Daniele Pelessone leads the ES3 engineering analysis and scientific computation methods development activities. Daniele has a D.Sc. in Aeronautical Engineering from Universita degli Studi di Pisa, Italy and an MS in Applied Mechanics from the University of California at San Diego. Daniele leads the development of ES3 capabilities in computational simulation modeling of highly dynamic systems and of post-failure structural response to catastrophic events such as collisions, blasts, and penetrations.
 

Jeremy Asbill
Director, Software Development

Jeremy Asbill manages the software development of ES3’s suite of software products. Jeremy applies good software engineering methodologies throughout the software development cycle of requirements analysis, design, development, and testing. His approach ensures that the ES3 suite of software products is highly reliable and maintainable. Jeremy has a BS in both Computer Science and Applied Mathematics from the University of Colorado at Boulder. He is currently a Ph.D. candidate in the Computer Science Department at the University of Utah.
 

Chris Dickson
Manager, Data Mining Applications

Chris Dickson manages the ES3 software products that focus on a modern enterprises’ requirement for intelligent data mining. Chris keeps his product development efforts in step with the direction and speed in which user requirements and user expectation are surging. Chris has a BS in Computer Science from the University of Utah and is an experienced designer of data repository and palm accessing systems.
 

Brett Bailey
Chief Information Officer and Facilities Security Officer

Brett Bailey manages all ES3 information infrastructure, supporting company internal systems as well as providing services contracted for by our customers. Brett manages a staff that provides a broad spectrum of system administration services. They ensure exceptional system availability and performance for more than 500 users. They ensure the integrity of over 5 terabytes of critical aerospace technical data. Brett has a BA in Computer Science and in Japanese from Weber State University. He and his staff hold various certifications in Oracle, Novell, UNIX, Cisco hub/routers, GroupWise, Windows and Macintosh.
